All through the history of our United States of America, we have been inspired by music; the lyrics and instrumentals have carried us through the
darker days and the brighter ones. The music of our grand nation reminds us where we have been, who we are as a country, and what we
can behold and become. The characters in Music In Our Hearts, The Songs of America are veterans who reside at the Armed Forces
Retirement Home, Washington, D.C., and are a representation of people from many walks of life. Collaborating with Harry F. Miller, Senior Master
Sergeant, U.S. Air Force (Retired), the veterans who reside at the Armed Forces Retirement Home, and with my friends and colleagues of
the Home, has once again been a true inspiration.
